oceanicos collective
Oceanicos Collective emerged as a practice of care and remembrance. We remember the ocean as our teacher and water as an intelligent, living organism. Through our creative work we practice being in relation with the earth because for us, the ecological crisis is also a crisis of relationship.
Through performances, workshops, immersive installations, and community gatherings, we invite individuals and collectives to experience water as a reflection of the body and the mind. We explore the relationship between humans and more-than-humans, environments, and social systems—cultivating sensitivity, joyful hope, and transformation. Our work lives where art, ecology, spirituality, science, and community meet.
