camilo camar is an artist, spiritual and environmental activist, designer, and somagic practitioner working with sound, ritual, and movement-based performance. His practice blends symbolic action with the body as a portal for creative expression, transformation, and a freer way of being.
Influenced by his relationship with the ocean, their work unfolds through breath, listening, and imagination—creating conditions where the soma and the spirit meet in service of peace, creativity, and joy in life.
His hunger for simplicity, freedom, and creative living, has led them to delve into spirituality and somatics through butoh, improvisation, water practices, and mystical experiences influenced by buddhism, shamanism, astral travel, and psychomagic. He studied Industrial Design at Universidad El Bosque, dance throughout his life, and deepened his research in sound at Wesleyan University.
camilo’s work is nourished by the artistic, healing, and spiritual practices of his ancestors, as well as by his love for and connection to water.
